Still gone, apparently.

After reviving this blog last July, I promptly forgot about it again. I suck at blogging, apparently.
In the intervening 7 months, we lost our house, were forced to live in a hotel for almost 8 weeks, and gained a new house.
That time in the hotel about killed me. I put on 20 pounds in 8 weeks. Living on carbs, microwave meals, and crappy take-out will do that to a person. Oh, and next to 0 activity. I really tried to keep healthier food in the room, but there's only so much you can do with a micro-fridge.
So I'm putting this out there for accountability. I'm upto 240lbs. I've begun training for a half-marathon. I can't run and I have exercise induced asthma. But I'm going to do it. Its not until September, so I have plenty of time to die in the interim. But one way or another, I will cross that finish line!!
I'm learning all about proper diet whilst running. Apparently, chocolate is a bad thing. And wine. And all my favorite comfort foods. Except on long run days. I get to load up!!! Yay long run days. When I get to those.
